FEDERAL SECTION 8 VOUCHER PROGRAM
Applying for a federal aided rental voucher places applicants on a centralized waitlist for a voucher that would subsidize the monthly rent. Voucher holders must find their own rental and landlord that will agree to the terms of the program. The voucher is good in any state that it is accepted. There are housing agencies in Massachusetts that do not participate in the Go Section 8 centralized waitlist and manage their own list. If the housing agency you prefer is not listed on the enclosed application, you must apply to it separately.
